What do they do with all the extra shirts and hats?

In the NBA final and the Superbowl and other sports championships the players get the championship hats and shirts the moment they win. Obviously they have champion shirts for both teams and there is a loser. So what do they do with the loser clothing?

They are donated. Last I heard was to Africa somewhere.
